Selenge Press Falcons[2] simply known asSP Falcons (formerly known asBulgan SP Falcons for sponsorship reasons[3]) is aMongolian professionalfootball club competing in theMongolian Premier League.[4][5] Although all clubs in the Mongolian Premier League play in the capital,Ulaanbaatar,Bulgan is a town in the north of Mongolia, andBulgan andSelenge are two northern provinces of Mongolia.
In 2024, SP Falcons qualified to their first ever AFC competitions, the2024–25 AFC Challenge League after winning the2023–24 Mongolian Premier League title. The club was then drawn in Group E alongside Southeast Asian team,Madura United from Indonesia andPreah Khan Reach Svay Rieng from Cambodia where SP Falcons hosted the group. The club manage to get 1 point in the tournament after a goalless draw with Preah Khan Reach Svay Rieng but fall to a 2–1 defeat to Madura United thus finishing in last place.
Founded in 2003, SP Falcons are one of the teams representing capital Ulaanbaatar in MNPL.[6]
The team plays their home games at theMFF Football Centre, which has a capacity of 5,000 spectators.[7]
