Sedeh (Persian :سده )[ a] Sedeh District ofEqlid County ,Fars province,Iran .[ 4] Sedeh Rural District .[ 5]
At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 5,572 in 1,321 households.[ 6] [ 7] [ 2]
Sedeh is about 125 kilometres (78 mi) north-to-northwest ofShiraz . The city is on the historical route taken byAlexander the Great in 331 BC between thePersian Gates andPersepolis .[citation needed
