Sebastian Foss-Solevåg (born 13 July 1991) is a Norwegian formerWorld Cupalpine ski racer who specialised inslalom. He is world champion, Olympic bronze medalist and three times national champion in slalom.

Career

Born inÅlesund, he competed at the2014 Winter Olympics inSochi, inslalom where he placed ninth.[2]

Foss-Solevåg's firstWorld Cup podium came in January2015 atZagreb,Croatia,[3] and his first win came six years later atFlachau, Austria. He won the gold medal in theslalom at theWorld Championships in2021,[4][5] and won another in theteam event.

At the2018 Winter Olympics he won a bronze medal in themixed team competition,[1] along withNina Haver-Løseth,Kristin Lysdahl,Maren Skjøld,Leif Kristian Nestvold-Haugen andJonathan Nordbotten.[6]

Competing at the2022 Winter Olympics he won a bronze medal inmen's slalom,[1] behindClément Noël andJohannes Strolz.[7]

Foss Solevåg became national champion in slalom in 2013, 2015 and 2021.[8]
