Scythrididae (flower moths) is afamily of smallmoths in thesuperfamilyGelechioidea. The family is sometimes included in theXyloryctidae as asubfamilyScythridinae, but the Xyloryctidae themselves have sometimes been included in theOecophoridae as subfamily. Scythrididaeadults are smallish to mid-sized moths, which when at rest appearteardrop-shaped.[2]
