TheScroll of the Parwanaya (Classical Mandaic:ࡔࡀࡓࡇ ࡖࡐࡀࡓࡅࡀࡍࡀࡉࡉࡀŠarḥ ḏ-Parwanaiia) is aMandaean religious text that describes the rituals of the five-dayParwanaya festival. Excluding thecolophon, the text consists of 931 lines.[1]
Copies of the scroll include Manuscript 24 of theDrower Collection (DC 24), currently held at theBodleian Library.[2] The scroll was originally copied byYahya Bihram in 1832 at his sister's son's house inMuhammerah (Khorramshahr), Iran.[3] The scroll was analyzed and translated into German byBogdan Burtea in 2005.[2][4]
