Scopula submutata, theMediterranean lace border, is amoth of the familyGeometridae. It is found in southernEurope,[2]North Africa and theNear East. The habitat consists of open,dry grassland and rocky slopes.
Thewingspan is 20–25 millimetres (0.79–0.98 in). There are two generations per year, with adults on wing from May to October.[3]
The larvae feed onThymus species andOriganum vulgare.[4]
