Scalopognathus multituberculatus is atherocephalian from theEarly Triassic of theKomi Republic ofRussia.[1] It was first named and described in 1974 byLeonid Tatarinov from a singular lower jaw.[2][3] He later found more material, including a partial skull and a fewvertebrae, belonging to this species.[1] It is currently the only species in the genusScalopognathus.
