Sarath is a village inSarathCD block in theMadhupur subdivision of theDeoghar district in theIndianstate ofJharkhand.

Sarath is located at24°14′12″N86°50′16″E / 24.23667°N 86.83778°E /24.23667; 86.83778.
The map shows a large area, which is a plateau with low hills, except in the eastern portion where the Rajmahal hills intrude into this area and the Ramgarh hills are there.
