Sarai Mohana is acensus town in theVaranasi district ofUttar Pradesh,India.[1] It is roughly 5 kilometres (3.1 mi) fromVaranasi.[2] TheVaruna River flows into theGanges nearby,[3] making the area prone to flooding.[4]

The village's inhabitants are a mixture of Hindu and Urdu speakers.[citation needed]
