Saori Ariyoshi (有吉 佐織,Ariyoshi Sayori; born November 1, 1987) is a Japanesefootballer who currently plays forAlbirex Niigata in theWE League. She has played for theJapan national team.
Ariyoshi was born inSaga on November 1, 1987. In 2008, when she was atNippon Sport Science University, she debuted in theL.League forTEPCO Mareeze. After graduating, she joinedNippon TV Beleza in 2010. She was selected for the Best Eleven four years in a row, from2013 to2016).
In February 2012, Ariyoshi was selectedJapan national team for2012 Algarve Cup. At this competition, on February 29, she debuted againstNorway. In 2014, she played at2014 Asian Cup and2014 Asian Games. Japan won the championship at Asian Cup and 2nd place at Asian Games. In 2015, played at2015 World Cup and Japan won 2nd place. She played 6 matches and scored a goal.[1] She was named candidates for the Golden Ball at the tournament.[2] She was also a member for2018 Asian Cup and Japan won their second consecutive title. She played 63 games and scored 1 goals for Japan.
