Santiago Juan Gentiletti Selak (born 9 January 1985) is an Argentine former professionalfootballer who played as acentre-back.
Gentiletti played over 68 games forGimnasia de La Plata before signing forProvincial Osorno ofChile in 2008. In 2009, he played forO'Higgins, also of Chile.
In 2010, he was signed byArgentinos Juniors and immediately established himself as an important member of the first team squad under managerClaudio Borghi. He was an important member of the team that won theClausura 2010 championship having played in 16 of the club's 19 games and scored one goal during their championship winning campaign.In August 2011 he was signed by the FrenchLigue 1 clubStade Brestois 29 on a loan deal.In August 2014, after winningCopa Libertadores withSan Lorenzo from Argentina, he moved to an Italian club,Lazio.[1]
On 18 July 2016, he moved toGenoa.[2]
On 29 August 2018, Gentiletti joinedSegunda División sideAlbacete Balompié.[3]
On 25 June 2019, Gentiletti joined to his country clubNewell's Old Boys.[4]
Having been injured for almost a year, Gentiletti retired from professional football on the 12th of July 2021.[5]
