San'nai (山内村,San'nai-mura) was avillage located inHiraka District,Akita Prefecture,Japan.
In 2003, the village had an estimatedpopulation of 4,364 and adensity of 21.22 persons per km2. The total area was 205.68 km2.
On October 1, 2005, Sannai, along with the towns ofHiraka,Jūmonji,Masuda,Omonogawa andŌmori; and the village ofTaiyū (all fromHiraka District), was merged into the expanded city ofYokote.[1]
10月1日、横手市は、旧横手市平鹿郡の8市町村（横手市、増田町、平鹿町、雄物川町、大森町、十文字町、山内村、大雄村）が合併して一つになり、人口約10万人、面積693.04km2の秋田県第二の都市として誕生しました。
