Sandleheath is a village andcivil parish about 1.8 miles (2.9 km) west ofFordingbridge in theNew Forest District ofHampshire, England. It has a population of 663,[2] increasing to 680 at the 2011 Census. It lies immediately north-east of the traditionaltripoint between Hampshire, Dorset and Wiltshire.
Sandle Manor is anElizabethan manor house that was extended in 1900 and 1936.[3]
TheChurch of England parish church ofSaint Aldhelm was designed by the architectCharles Ponting and constructed in 1907.[3]
The village has a small area ofcommon land at its centre, avillage shop andpost office and a smallindustrial estate. Sandleheath has aSea Scout group[4] which has a hall in the village. The village used to have two brickyards one of which provided the bricks for the now village hall.
