Sanam Jung (Urdu:صنم جنگ) is a Pakistani actress and television presenter.[2] She is known for her leading roles in the popular television seriesDil e Muztar (2013),Mohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai (2013),Mere Humdum Mere Dost (2014) andAlvida (2015). From 2014–18, she hosted the morning showJago Pakistan Jago forHum TV.

Career

Jung started her career as a video jockey onPlay TV in 2008, while studying for her undergrad in Business Administration (Banking and Finance) at theInstitute of Business Management, but then moved toAAG TV in 2010 during her MBA (Finance) from College of Business Management.[2]

Jung made her acting debut inDil e Muztar onHum TV oppositeImran Abbas Naqvi,Sarwat Gilani,Aijaz Aslam, andSaba Hameed. In 2013, she appeared inMohabat Subh Ka Sitara Hai oppositeMeekal Zulfiqar andAdeel Hussain.[2] She next appeared inMere Humdum Mere Dost withAdnan Siddiqui andHareem Farooq. She then appeared inAlvida again with Imran Abbas Naqvi in 2015.[2][3][4]

From 2014, till 30 November 2018, she was the host ofJago Pakistan Jago on Hum TV.[2] Jung made her comeback withMein Na Janoo in 2019 which was a joint venture between MD Productions and Cereal Production ofAdnan Siddiqui. Sanam did a negative character for the first time inQarar as Maya in 2020 withMikaal Zulfiqar,Rabab Hashim, andMuneeb Butt on Hum TV.[5]
