TheSamoic–Outlier languages, also known asSamoic languages, are a purported group ofPolynesian languages, encompassing the Polynesian languages ofSamoa,Tuvalu,American Samoa,Tokelau,Wallis and Futuna, andPolynesian outlier languages inNew Caledonia, theSolomon Islands,Vanuatu,Papua New Guinea, and theFederated States of Micronesia. The name "Samoic-Outlier" recognizesSamoan.
