Samantha Lynn Hanratty[1] (born September 20, 1995) is an American actress. Her first lead was in 2009, portrayingChrissa Maxwell inAn American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong. In 2011, she played the role Whitney Brown in the filmThe Greening of Whitney Brown. Hanratty is considered a Celebrity Friend for theStarlight Children's Foundation.[2] Since 2021, she has played teenage Misty Quigley in theShowtime drama seriesYellowjackets.

In 2006, she was a recurring character through seasons two and three ofThe Suite Life of Zack & Cody as Holly, a little girl whose father is a con man and once stayed at the Tipton. That same year, she appeared in theABC filmStephen King's Desperation. From 2006 to 2009, Hanratty had a recurring role on the action-drama seriesThe Unit with her older sister Danielle. In 2006, she appeared in the filmThe Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, playing an elf named Glenda. She also played Chrissa in the 2009 filmAn American Girl: Chrissa Stands Strong.[5] Hanratty played a young version ofLeelee Sobieski's character Jody Balaban in the romantic comedy filmFinding Bliss directed by Julie Davis. Hanratty was an ensemble cast in Showtime's thriller drama seriesYellowjackets portraying a teen version ofChristina Ricci's character Misty Quigley.[11]
On August 27, 2024, Hanratty announced that she was expecting a son with Christian DeAnda.[12] On September 26, 2024, Hanratty stated that her son would be born with acleft lip and will require several surgeries after his birth.[13] On December 31, 2024, Hanratty and DeAndra welcomed their son.[14]
