Samit Garg (born 11 October 1971) is an Indian entrepreneur known for his work in the events and tourism industries. He is the co-founder and Managing Director of E-Factor Experiences Ltd. and co-founder of Skywaltz Balloon Safari, regarded as one of India’s first commercial hot-air ballooning ventures.[1][2][3][4]
Garg was born in Lucknow, India. He completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from theUniversity of Lucknow and an MBA from the Jaipuria Institute of Management. He also attended theINSEAD International Leadership Program for Senior Executives.[5][6][7]
Garg began his career in finance before entering the events industry. In 2003, he co-founded E-Factor Experiences Ltd. which has organized tourism, cultural, and public events in India. In 2008, he co-founded Skywaltz Balloon Safari, which operates hot-air balloon flights in several Indian states and has been recognized by theMinistry of Tourism.[8][9][10]
He has also been associated with professional organizations such as the Events and Entertainment Management Association (EEMA) and the World Experience Organization (WXO).[6][10][11]
Skywaltz Balloon Safari received a National Tourism Award for innovation in adventure tourism.[8]
