Salvatore Bruno (born 9 November 1979) is a formerItalian footballer who last played as astriker for ItalianSerie D club Rezzato .

Club career

Bruno started his career atSerie A teamNapoli, but most of his career has been spent in the lower division.

Chievo

Bruno was signed byChievo inco-ownership deal in 1999. In January 2001, Bruno was signed byAlzano in a temporary deal, after making a handful of appearances withSPAL. In June 2001, Chievo bought Bruno outright. However, he was loaned toAscoli with an option to co-own the player. In June 2003, Chievo bought Bruno back again, but Bruno left forAncona in another temporary deal. Bruno switched clubs every 6 months, which he left forBari,Torino,Catania and finally played a whole season forBrescia. Bruno made 4 appearances for Chievo in2006–07 Serie A.

Modena

In January 2007, after a few appearances, he leftSerie A teamChievo[1] and moved to Modena, exchanged withMichele Troiano inco-ownership deal.

In June 2008, Modena bought him outright and bought back Troiano, in exchange,Angelo Antonazzo andNicholas Frey went to Chievo.[2]

Sassuolo

In August 2010 Bruno was signed bySassuolo on reported free transfer.[3] The club also signed Troiano fromModena, the seat ofthe province thatSassuolo is located. Bruno tookRiccardo Zampagna's no.9 shirt. However, he was the backup striker.

Juve Stabia

In summer 2012, he moved toJuve Stabia. At the end of the season, he had played 26 games with 7 goals.

Back in Modena

In the summer of 2013, he returned to play in the files ofModena inSerie B.

Lega Pro

[edit]

The following year falls in theLega Pro by signing a contract withReal Vicenza; the following year, he began to play in theGiana Erminio.

International career

Bruno was a member ofItaly U16 team in1996 UEFA European Under-16 Football Championship qualification.
