Salpa Pokhari (Nepali: साल्पा पोखरी) orSalpa Pond is anatural lake located inDobhane village,Bhojpur District,Nepal. The lake lies at an altitude of 3443 metres and drains into theSunkoshi River watershed.
Four festivals are celebrated at the lake every year on the full-moon days ofBaisakh Purnima,Rishi Purnima,Kartik Purnima andMangsir Purnima.[1][2]The lake is visited byKirat, Hindu, and Buddhist pilgrims.[3]
