Sally Anne Jameson[2] is a BritishLabour Party politician and prison officer serving as theMember of Parliament (MP) forDoncaster Central since2024.
Sally Jameson was born and raised inDoncaster.[1]
She was aprison officer at a local prison and was a branch chair of thePrison Officers' Association union.[3][1]
She campaigned for Labour for 12 years before being elected, and was an agent for the previous MPRosie Winterton.[3] She was selected to stand in the2024 general election forDoncaster Central, in July 2022. She was endorsed byUnison,ASLEF,Co-operative Party andUSDAW.[4] She won the seat with a majority of 9,551.[5]
