Saldes (Catalan pronunciation:[ˈsaldəs]) is amunicipality in thecomarca of theBerguedà inCatalonia, Spain. It is situated at the foot of thePedraforca mountain (2,497 m (8,192 ft)) in the north of thecomarca. Deposits oflignite are extracted commercially. The village is linked toGuardiola de Berguedà by a local road. The monasterySant Sebastià del Sull is located in Saldes.
