Saiyami Kher is an Indian actress who primarily works inHindi andTelugu films. Kher made her acting debut with the Telugu filmRey (2015) and her Hindi debut withMirzya (2016), for which she receivedStardust Award for Superstar of Tomorrow – Female. Kher has since appeared inMauli (2018),Choked (2020),Wild Dog (2021) andGhoomer (2023). She has also starred in the streaming seriesSpecial OPS (2020) andFaadu (2022).

Early life and family

Kher was born on 29 June 1992 in Nashik, Maharashtra .[1] Her father Advait Kher was a model and her mother Uttara is Femina Miss India of 1982 and her elder sister Saunskruti Kher is also a Marathi actress.[2]

She is the granddaughter of actressUsha Kiran and the niece of actressTanvi Azmi. Kher completed her graduation fromSt. Xavier's College,Mumbai.[3][1]

In 2015, Kher made her debut with Telugu filmRey and appeared inRakesh Omprakash Mehra'sPunjabifolkloreMirza Sahiban based Hindi filmMirzya oppositeHarshvardhan Kapoor in following the year. In 2020, She appeared in Mayank Sharma's web seriesBreathe alongsideAbhishek Bachchan. In 2021, she is starred alongsideNagarjuna in the action filmWild Dog as anNIA Agent.[4]

In 2023, Sayami featured inR Balki'sGhoomer.[5]

Saiyami Kher's became the first Indian actress to complete in the Ironman 70.3 triathlon in Berlin: The Ironman 70.3 is a triathlon that involves a 1.9 km swim, a 90 km bike ride, and a 21.1 km run, all completed in order without breaks.[citation needed]
