Sainte-Marguerite-sur-Mer (French pronunciation:[sɛ̃tmaʁɡəʁitsyʁmɛʁ], literallySainte-Marguerite on Sea) is acommune in theSeine-Maritimedepartment in theNormandy region in northernFrance.
Afarming andcoastal village situated in thePays de Caux, some 6 miles (9.7 km) west ofDieppe at the junction of the D75 and the D323 roads. Hugechalk cliffs rise up from a pebble beach overlooking theEnglish Channel, to form the northern border of the commune.
