Sainte-Croix-en-Bresse (French pronunciation:[sɛ̃tkʁwaɑ̃bʁɛs], literallySainte-Croix inBresse; before 2020:Sainte-Croix)[2] is acommune in theSaône-et-Loiredepartment in theregion ofBourgogne-Franche-Comté in eastern France. The writerRose Vincent (1918–2011) was born there.
TheSolnan forms most of the commune's eastern border. TheSâne Morte forms part of the commune's southern border, flows northwestward through the commune, then forms most of its north-western border.
