Life

A son ofPrince Fragan ofDumnonia andSaint Gwen the Three-Breasted of Brittany, he grew up atPloufragan nearSaint-Brieuc (in northwestern France) with his brothers,Winwaloe andJacut. They were later joined by a sister,Creirwy. He was educated byBudoc of Dol onthe Île Lavret nearPaimpol.[5] Wethenoc was also the half brother ofCadfan.
