Llanrhuddlad, also spelledLlanrhyddlad, is a hamlet inAnglesey, in north-west Wales.[1] It is located in thecommunity ofCylch-y-Garn, 5 miles (8.0 km) fromHolyhead, 142 miles (229 km) fromCardiff and 225 miles (362 km) fromLondon.[2]
Llyn Llygeirian,1+1⁄2 miles (2.4 km) to the south-east, abounds in flora and fringing marshland. TheAnglesey Coastal Path passes nearby.[2]
Morris Williams, a poet in Welsh and a theologian, served as Llanrhuddlad's Anglican rector from 1859 until his death on 3 January 1874.[3] He completed a Welsh metrical version of thePsalms (Y Psallwyr, neu Psalmau Dafydd) in 1850.[4]
