Saint-Leu Airfield was a military airfield inAlgeria, near the city of Bettioua, about 45 km northeast of Oran.
DuringWorld War II it was held by Vichy France until taken by theAllied Forces inOperation Torch, then was used by theUnited States Army Air ForceTwelfth Air Force319th Bombardment Group during theNorth African Campaign against the GermanAfrika Korps. The 319th flewMartin B-26 Marauder medium bombers from the airfield between 11 and 18 November 1942.[citation needed]
