Sachin–Jigar are an Indian music composer duo consisting of Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya. They are both known for their compositions in bothHindi andGujarati language films.
Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya are both originally fromGujarat, and are both settled inMumbai,Maharashtra.[1]
Prior to working with each other, they both were assistants toPritam and programmed and arranged music for several composers includingA. R. Rahman,Amit Trivedi,Anu Malik,Nadeem–Shravan andSandesh Shandilya. Jigar had met Sachin while serving as an assistant toPritam. Seeing their potential,Pritam suggested Sachin & Jigar to work together as a duo. In 2009, they began working with each other and composed a song for the filmLife Partner.
In 2011, they independently composed music for the filmF.A.L.T.U. In the following years, they composed music for films such asOMG – Oh My God!,Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya,Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum,Ajab Gazabb Love,ABCD: Any Body Can Dance,Shuddh Desi Romance,Jayantabhai Ki Luv Story,Himmatwala,I, Me Aur Main,Go Goa Gone andRamaiya Vastavaiya.
The duo composed music for the filmHumpty Sharma Ki Dulhania in 2014 which was produced byDharma Productions. In 2015, they composed music for the filmBadlapur. The same year they composed songs for the filmABCD 2, a sequel toABCD: Any Body Can Dance andHero which featured a song sung bySalman Khan.
In 2018, they created the company White Noise Studios which aims to launch new talent and offer them opportunities in the music industry.[2]
