Saad Saood Jan (1931–2005) was a Pakistanijurist.
During his career, Jan was Joint Secretary for theMinistry of Law and Secretary to the Parliamentary Affairs Division.[1][2] As a jurist, he served on theLahore High Court,Supreme Court of Pakistan (1986), and twice as its acting Chief Justice.[1][3]
Jan was a member of the HaguePermanent Court of Arbitration's National Group and was appointed by the UN as a Judge for theInternational Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in 1996, succeedingRustam S. Sidhwa.[1]
