Sodium channel β-subunit4, also known asSCN4B or Naβ4, is an auxiliary sodium channel subunit that can alter the kinetics of sodium channels.[5] Theprotein is encoded by theSCN4Bgene.[6] Mutations in theSCN4B are associated withlong QT syndrome.[7]

SCN4B might additionally function as a cell adhesion molecule.[8][9]
