Ruth De Jong is an Americanart director andproduction designer. She was nominated for anAcademy Award in the categoryBest Production Design for the filmOppenheimer.[1][2] She was also nominated for aPrimetime Emmy Award in the categoryOutstanding Production Design for a Narrative Contemporary Program (One Hour or More) for her work on the television programTwin Peaks.[3] She has worked frequently on films directed byTerrence Malick,Paul Thomas Anderson,Jordan Peele, and Zackary Adler.
In 2024, Jong received theArt Directors Guild Award for Excellence in Production Design for a Period Film award at the28th Annual Art Directors Guild Awards.[4]
