Russell Brown is afilmmaker fromLos Angeles, California. He is known for writing and directing the filmsLoren & Rose (2021),[1]The 44 Scarves of Liza Minnelli (2019),[2]Search Engines (2016),[3]Annie and the Gypsy (2012),[4]The Blue Tooth Virgin (2008),[5] andRace You to the Bottom (2005).[6] Brown has also directed a number ofdocumentaries andshort films.[7]

Education and career

Brown attended theUniversity of Southern California (USC) where he graduatedPhi Beta Kappa in 1997 with a BA in Critical Studies.[7][8] While at USC, Brown interned atMandalay Entertainment Group.[8] He has served as a creative executive atColumbia Pictures withLaura Ziskin Productions and atParamount Pictures with Saturday Night Live Studios.[7]
