Russ Dwayne Millard (born March 1, 1973) is an American formerbasketball player who was selected by thePhoenix Suns in the second round (39th pick overall) of the1996 NBA draft. A 6'8" forward fromUniversity of Iowa,
Millard was a member of the Iowa Hawkeyes for five seasons, redshirting his true freshman season. He was named third team All-Big Ten Conference as a senior after averaging 13.7 and seven rebounds per game.[1]
Millard was drafted byPhoenix Suns in the second round (39th pick overall) of the1996 NBA draft, but never played in an NBA game. He signed a contract withPallacanestro Varese to start his professional career.[2]
Millard played for theLa Crosse Bobcats of theContinental Basketball Association (CBA) from 1996 to 1998.[3] He was selected to the CBA All-Rookie Second Team in 1997.[3]
