TheRural Municipality of Strathclair is a formerrural municipality (RM) in theCanadianprovince ofManitoba. It was originally incorporated as a rural municipality on December 22, 1883.[1] It ceased on January 1, 2015, as a result of itsprovincially mandatedamalgamation with theRM of Shoal Lake to form theRural Municipality of Yellowhead.[2]
The former RM is named for the community ofStrathclair located within its boundaries. The main reserve of theKeeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation is located within the northeast quadrant of the former RM.
