TheRoyal Danish Military Academy (Danish:Hærens Officersskole) educates and commissions allofficers for theRoyal Danish Army. The Military Academy function was initiated in 1713 by request ofKing Frederick IV on inspiration from theNaval Academy.
The academy has, since 1869, been located atFrederiksberg Palace in centralCopenhagen.[1]
