Early Royall Bailey (September 23, 1929 – June 12, 2006) was aCanadian football player who played for theHamilton Tiger Cats.[1] He won theGrey Cup with them in 1953. He previously played football atTulane University from 1951 to 1952, earning a letter in the sport.[2] He signed with theKitchener-Waterloo Dutchmen in 1957 after serving in theUnited States Air Force for 2 years.[3][4] In 1958, he was named head coach of the Dutchmen following the departure ofHarvey Johnson.[5] He guided the team to theOntario Rugby Football Union championship game, but lost decisively to the Sarnia Golden Bears. He was replaced for the 1959 season byBob Jauron.[6]
