Rosemont–La Petite-Patrie (French pronunciation:[ʁozmɔ̃lapətitpatʁi]) is aborough (arrondissement) in the city ofMontreal, Quebec, Canada. It is located centre-east of the island.
The borough is bordered to the northwest byVilleray–Saint-Michel–Parc-Extension, to the northeast bySaint Leonard, to the southeast byMercier—Hochelaga-Maisonneuve, to the southwest byLe Plateau-Mont-Royal and itsMile End neighbourhood, and to the west byOutremont.
It has a population of 141,813 and an area of 15.9 km².

The northwestern area of the borough is served by theorange andblue lines of theMontreal Metro. Major thoroughfares includeBeaubien St., Rosemont Blvd., Masson St.,Saint Laurent Blvd.,Saint Hubert St.,Papineau Ave.,Pie-IX Blvd., and Viau St. The notoriousTunnel de la mort is located in that borough, at the intersection of Iberville St. andSaint-Joseph Blvd.
The borough includes the neighbourhoods of thePetite Patrie, comprising several "ethnic" neighbourhoods such asLittle Italy; Rosemont; and Nouveau Rosemont.
Important features of the borough include theJean-Talon Market, theMontreal Heart Institute, theHôpital Santa Cabrini, theHôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont, theOlympic Village,Maisonneuve Park (including theInsectarium andMontreal Botanical Garden),Saint Sophie Ukrainian Orthodox Cathedral, theChurch of the Madonna della Difesa andDante Park.
