Roscoe Conkling Ensign Brown (August 23, 1867 inScottsville, New York[1] – December 14, 1946) was themanaging editor andassistant editor of theNew York Tribune and professor of journalism atColumbia University.[2]
Brown graduated from theUniversity of Rochester in 1889, and joined theTribune later that year.[1]
