Rosamond Lake is a naturaldry lake bed in theMojave Desert ofKern andLos Angeles County, California. The shores of the lake are entirely within the borders ofEdwards Air Force Base, approximately 10 miles (16 km) fromLancaster. The lake is adjacent toRogers Dry Lake which through theHolocene, together made up one large water-body.Piute Ponds are immediately to the southwest.
