Ronald Hamilton (born 24 April 1945) is a Scottish retired professionalfootballer who played in theScottish League forKilmarnock,St Mirren andQueen of the South as acentre forward.[1][2][3] He is best remembered for his time as player, assistant manager,coach,scout and chairman of Kilmarnock.[1] At the time of his debut as a player for Kilmarnock, Hamilton was the club's youngest ever player and the youngest post-war Scottish LeagueFirst Division player.[1][4] As of June 2022, he had served as president ofArdeer Thistle for more than 30 years.[5]
Hamilton attendedKilmarnock Academy.[1] As of 2007, he was working as achartered accountant.[1]
