Ronald Hugo Fuentes Núñez (born 22 June 1969) is a Chileanfootball manager and former player who played as adefender. He is the current manager ofÑublense in theChilean Primera División.
Fuentes played his entire club career in Chile for two teams, he started his career in 1987 withCobresal, and in 1994 he joinedUniversidad de Chile where he won four league titles and twoCopa Chile titles.
At international level, Fuentes was capped 50 times and scored 1 goal for theChile national team between 1991 and 2000,[1] including four games at the1998 FIFA World Cup.
Fuentes signed withMagallanes in thePrimera B de Chile for the 2024 season fromUnión Española.[2] In April 2025, he was appointed the manager ofÑublense.[3]
