Ronald Florijn (born 21 April 1961) is a formerrower from theNetherlands and two-time Olympic gold medallist.

Florijn won the gold medal in the men's double sculls at the1988 Summer Olympics, alongsideNico Rienks. At the1996 Summer Olympics, he repeated his gold medal performance winning the eight with coxswain event with theHolland Acht (Holland Eight).[1] He also won five medals at the world championships in 1978–1995 in double, four and eight-manned boat races.[2]

He studiedindustrial and organizational psychology at theLeiden University and then worked forArbo Unie, one of the biggest occupational health organizations in the Netherlands.[3] Since 2004 he runs his own company. He is a knight of theOrder of Orange-Nassau.
