Roman folklore is thefolklore ofancient Rome, including genres such asmyth (Roman mythology),legend,joke,charms,fable,ghostlore, and numerous others.[1] Scholars have published various collections focused on ancient Rome's folklore.[2] Roman folklore is closely related toAncient Greek folklore and precedesItalian folklore.
