Roman Władysław Odzierzyński (28 February 1892,Lviv[1] – 9 July 1975,London[2]) was a Polish politician. He was the 35thPrime Minister of Poland, and 5th prime minister in thePolish Government in Exile from 1950 until 1953.[3][4]
Following theInvasion of Poland, he fled with the army throughRomania toFrance. He served as an artillery commander with thePolish Army in the East[5] and thePolish II Corps, rising to the rank ofbrigadier general.[6]
For his services, he was awarded the Grand Cross of theOrder of Polonia Restituta.[7]
