Osimo Cathedral TheDiocese ofOsimo eCingoli was aRoman Catholic diocese inItaly .
It was founded in 1725 from a merger of theDiocese of Osimo and theDiocese of Cingoli . In 1986 it merged with theDiocese of Macerata-Tolentino , theDiocese of Recanati and theDiocese of San Severino to form theDiocese of Macerata-Tolentino-Recanati-Cingoli-Treia .[ 1] [ 2]
It was contained within thePapal States .[ 3]
