TheArchdiocese of Morelia (Latin:Archidioecesis Moreliensis) is aLatin Church ecclesiastical territory or archdiocese of theCatholic Church in western centralMexico.[1][2] It was erected on 11 August 1536 as the Diocese of Michoacán.

Thecathedra is found in theCathedral of the Transfiguration in theepiscopal see ofMorelia, capital ofMichoacán state. It also has aminor basilica: Basílica de Nuestra Señora de la Salud, inPátzcuaro, Michoacán de Ocampo.
