Roger Revelle Medal

This article is about Roger Revelle Medal of the American Geophysical Union. Not to be confused withRoger Revelle Prize.

TheRoger Revelle Medal is given out annually by theAmerican Geophysical Union to recognize "outstanding accomplishments or contributions toward the understanding of theEarth’satmospheric processes, including itsdynamics,chemistry, and radiation; and toward the role of theatmosphere,atmosphere-ocean coupling, oratmosphere-land coupling in determining theclimate,biogeochemical cycles, or other key elements of theclimate system". The award was created in 1991 and named afterRoger Revelle.[1]
