Rocklands is a neighborhood in the southwestern corner of theMitchells Plain urban area of theCity of Cape Town in theWestern Cape province ofSouth Africa. The community ofStrandfontein is to its immediate west.
On 20 August 1983 theUnited Democratic Front, an important anti-apartheid organisation, was founded at the Rocklands Community Hall.[2][3]
