Rocío Sánchez Moccia (born 2 August 1988) is an Argentinefield hockey player. She competed for theArgentina national team, winning two silver medals at the2012[1] and2020 Summer Olympics and a bronze at the2024 Summer Olympics.[2]
On 3 July 2024, theArgentine Olympic Committee appointed Sánchez Moccia and the volleyball playerLuciano De Cecco as the flag bearers at the2024 Summer Olympics opening ceremony.[3]
Sánchez Moccia has won threeChampions Trophies, theWorld League 2014–15, the bronze medal at the2014 World Cup inThe Hague, Netherlands and fourPan American Cups.[4]
In 2022, she won the2021-22 Hockey Pro League and a silver medal at the2022 World Cup.
In 2023, she won a gold medal at2023 Pan American Games. She also won a bronze medal withLas Leonas at the2024 Summer Olympics.
