Robustiano Maciel (24 May 1930 - 5 September 2019)[1][2] was a Paraguayanfootball player and manager. He was part ofParaguay'ssquad that won the1953 South American Championship.[3]
Maciel was selected inParaguay's1953 South American Championship squads for the1953 South American Championship.[3] He played three games during the tournament, againstChile,Ecuador and hostsPeru national football team, as Paraguay won the competition for the first time.[3] The game against Chile on 25 February was his first cap with Paraguay.[4]
Maciel was again in Paraguay'ssquad for the1955 South American Championship.[5] He played five games during the tournament.[4]
He was also in thesquad for the1956 South American Championship.[6]
The friendly game againstBrazil on 17 June 1956 was his 18th and last cap with Paraguay.[4]
